Servo Cut 335 is a chlorinated inactive type of cutting oil.It contains additives to impart oiliness and EP properties. Chlorine and noncorrosive sulphurised fat is incorporated to give anti-weld, extreme pressure and oiliness characteristics to oils and hence it gives excellent performance over a wide range of temperatures. It is used for all machining operations on non-ferrous metals. It is also used for machining of ferrous metals where the severity of operation is not high.Chlorine in the oil allows it to use for extreme pressure – low/moderate temperature cutting operations where feed rates are high but speeds are low. These operations include gear hobbing, screw cutting, tapping, milling and reaming. It also minimises welding of the chip to the cutting tool.It helps to retain sharpness of the cutting edge and reduces stress at the cutting point. It also reduces friction between chip and tool face. Therefore generate less heat.It does not stain non-ferrous metals. It is also used as a hydraulic and general purpose lubricating oil in case cross leakages occur.
