Servo CUT 945A

Servo Cut 945A is a mixture of mineral oils and additives forming neat cutting oil. This oil improves the oiliness properties and provides a better surface finish because it contains sulphurised fatty materials. The sulphur present in this oil becomes highly chemically active along the tool-work piece-chip interface, to ensure proper protection to the numerous cutting tools operating over a wide range of temperatures. This oil often finds its usage in cases which require higher levels of chemical activity, as a result of which it is used on ferrous metals that too under extreme operating conditions. The oil is used on Ni-Cr alloys as well as tensile stainless steels by automatics, thread cutting, reaming, hobbing, gear cutting and drilling machines. Maintaining copious oil flow at lower pressures along the cutting area is a necessity for obtaining good results. This oil is also suitable for cutting operations over non-ferrous metals. However, avoiding contact with a wide range of soft metal bushes is a must. Specification IS : 3065-1985 of the Type III and Grade 2 category is met by this oil. (Reaffirmed 1995)
