Servo Cut S is a soluble cutting oil. It gives rich milky emulsion with water. Special emulsifier is used for its complete dispersion in water. The emulsion formed is continuous and stable. This oil has rust inhibitors which make it anti-rust and anti-corrosive. Biocides are used which protect it from bacterial growth. Mostly used on ferrous and non-ferrous metals where cooling is more necessary than lubrication of the system. it is also used in cold rolling of steel, but not aluminum. Oil is added to water for form a stable emulsion and not vice-versa. Continuous stirring is required either manually or mechanically to form the emulsion.
Dosage:
5% for mot machining operations.
More Dilute emulsions are used for grinding operations.
