Servo Gem EP 3 is a grease based on lithium soap and is manufactures using an additive agent to incorporate extreme pressure. Lithium soap greases are heavily used for lubrication in all domains, amounting up to 75% of all lubrication applications. Mostly used in the automobile sector, this grease is adopted in harsh operational settings that require extreme pressure greases for boundary lubrication to protect the bearings from localized seizure or welding as well as wear. With exceptional oxidation stability, rust protection, high load stability and shear stability, this grease is an optimal selection for plain and friction-resistant bearings. This grease has a wide range of application areas such as gear couplings, general machines, automobiles, electric motors, earth moving machinery and mining tools. It also ensures prolonged lubrication intervals by resisting water washout and offers smooth lubrication process with centralized lubrication scheme. The color of this grease varies from brown to dark brown and can withstand weld load of 280 kg. The grease fulfils the IS7623-1993(EP TYPE) specification and its adopters include MECON (Ranchi), BHEL (Hardwar/ Hyderabad), BEML (Mysore) etc.
