Servo MARINE 5040

Servo Marine 5040 has emerged as a new age Marine Engine Oil which addresses the provisions of current, medium-speed trunk piston engines in Marine propulsion and Land based diesel generator sets. It displays outstanding performance in standard and in-house engine assessments and various laboratory analyses. On using residual fuel in the MWM KD 12E engine test compliant with CEC-L-12-A-76, the oil achieves high merit score for piston hygiene, passes the MWM-B engine examination for the high-temperature deposit management service and fulfils the API service classification CD. The oil is also suited for cylinder lubrication of crosshead diesel engines and exhibits a decrease in Liner and Ring damage, higher TBN retention, prompt separation from water and improved adhesive and corrosive protection at high temperatures. The Wartsila NSD, Finland recommends this oil for Vasa 32, 22/26 and Vasa 22 engines. The viscosity index of this oil is 90, which represents the change in its viscosity based on the change in temperature.
