Servo RP 116 B is bitumen based rust preventive oil. It is diluted with volatile solvents to facilitate the application. After application on metallic components, the solvent evaporates leaving a firm, hard and thick film that sticks firmly on the surface. It provides long term outdoor protection of all types of metallic surfaces. It also protects steel rods, tubes, wires, assemblies, castings, industrial plant structure and water tanks. It is a water displacement type of RP oil.It is used in engineering industries for protection of ferrous components against rusting. It can also be used on other metals.It meets IS-1153-2000 specification of corrosion preventives, hard film, solvent deposited type oils.
