Servo RR 407 is a lubricant formulated to meet the requirements of Generation IV Rail Road Diesel Engines operating with the Indian Railways. It has been prepared with a blend of high-quality base stocks giving it an excellent thermal and oxidation stability in addition with the special additives that help impart a high degree of detergency and dispersancy including the desired level of alkalinity to fight the damage of combustion due to the high sulphur fuels. It also gives extended service life to rings and cylinders and adequate protection to turbocharger bearing. It helps keep the engine clean. It is an “Extra Performance” Generation IV Oil and is recommended for GM, EMD and ALCO Locomotives.
