Servo SM 120 (NB)

Servo SM 120 (NB) is a non-bituminous, premium-grade sugar mill roll bearing oil developed to provide exceptional lubrication and protection in heavily loaded, slow-speed bearings of sugar mills. It is formulated from carefully selected high-viscosity mineral base oils blended with non-toxic mild EP (Extreme Pressure) additives that ensure superior performance without the disadvantages of traditional bituminous oils. This advanced formulation ensures efficient lubrication under extreme pressure and high-load conditions, preventing metal-to-metal contact and significantly reducing friction, wear, and corrosion of bearings. Servo SM 120 (NB) maintains its consistency and lubricating film even in the presence of moisture, cane juice, or other contaminants, making it ideal for the harsh and humid environments of sugar mills. Its excellent oxidation and thermal stability minimize sludge formation and prolong the oil’s service life, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and reducing downtime. With a kinematic viscosity of 58–64 cSt at 100°C and a flash point of 230°C, this oil demonstrates strong film strength, good adhesion, and outstanding resistance to leakage, ensuring reliable lubrication over extended operating cycles. Unlike bituminous oils, it does not form sticky residues or carbon deposits, allowing for cleaner and smoother operation of bearings and lubrication systems. Servo SM 120 (NB) is widely recommended for open gear lubrication by slush pan method and for use in heavily loaded mill roll bearings found in sugar manufacturing plants. It can also be effectively used in centralised lubrication systems for slow-speed gears, spur, and helical gears operating under similar load and temperature conditions.
