Servo Steerol SS C6 is a premium-grade water-emulsifiable semi-synthetic rolling oil developed using highly refined base stocks and specialized performance additives. It is designed to form a metastable and long-lasting emulsion with water, offering excellent cooling, lubrication, and friction-reducing properties essential for cold rolling applications. This high-performance rolling oil has been specifically formulated for use in Tandem Cold Rolling Mills, where precise control of surface finish and thickness reduction is required. The product ensures consistent frictional behavior between roll bites, resulting in superior sheet finish, enhanced brightness, and improved flatness of rolled products. Servo Steerol SS C6 delivers exceptional heat dissipation and roll cooling efficiency, effectively reducing roll wear and extending roll life. Its unique formulation enhances sheet cleanliness and reflectance, while maintaining uniform film stability even under severe operating conditions. The oil’s balanced composition minimizes sludge formation, reduces consumption, and maintains system cleanliness, thereby improving overall mill productivity. The emulsion of Servo Steerol SS C6 is stable across a wide range of water hardness levels and can be easily maintained through standard filtration and separation systems. The typical working emulsion temperature is maintained between 45°C to 55°C for optimal performance. This rolling oil is approved by M/s. SAIL Bokaro Steel for use in their CRM – 4 Hi 4 Stand Tandem Mill (I) and meets the stringent performance requirements of high-speed tandem cold rolling operations.
